| 1 | Cutting and Raking out old sealing compound including damaged filler board and back up rod from the old existing expansion joints of size 25 to 35 mm wide including cleaning the joints portion throughly to ensure dust free using compressed air by air blower and filled pre moulded compressible synthetic filler board as per manufacturer instruction and provision of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polythene foam back up rod of 35mm to 45mm dia or more, over 25mm to 35mm thick pre moulded compressive filler board, priming vertical top surface and 15 mm filled with polysulphide base sealant (complying with IRC-57-2018 (latest version), with min MAF +30% with 10 years performance guarantee) and finishing the joints properly leaving 3 mm gap from top surface of concrete, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant all as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.
