| 1 | M&L for grass plantation sides of Runway/Taxi track, shoulders and link roads of Runway within Air Force Station Panagarh by providing manpower and required machinery with following method:- (a) Soil Preparation: Cleaning the area of weeds, proper horrowing of soil, levelling, rocks and debris. (b) Soil Medium: Providing and spreading good earth or top soil (friable loam) free from kankar, stones and moxious wees and also spreading sand on top soil in adequate thickness, if required as directed. (c) Soil Depth: A top soil layer of at least 15 Cm to 30 Cm is usually required. (d) Leveling and surface dressing: Fine grading the area to the designed levels (Plus or Minus 25 mm) to ensure proper drainage. (e) Grass Variety and Plantation Variety Selection: Common variety of Bermuda (Cynodon Doctylon grass) (f) Watering & Maintenance: Immediate and frequent watering is necessary for the first 15-60 (3 times every days (i.e early morning, day time & afternoon) days all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (g) Water with water bowser shall be provided at runway area for grass plantation and watering of grass with of grass with sprinkler (minimum 04 labours required per day for watering) (h) Water sprinkler with the help of small pump set shall be used for watering of grass after planting of grass till proper growth of grass. (j) Cost of manpower and machine and grass plantation till satifaction of users and GE shall be included in quoted rate of this item. (a) When the running hours is not a full hour or in multiple of an hour but involves a fraction of an hour then payment payble for that fraction shall be proportional to the quarter hours involved. (b) Daily log sheet/log book to be maintained commensurate with users duly signed by SATCO. A certificate as per Appx 'A' enclosed to the tender documents, and to be enclosed claiming running payment/Final Bill. (c) No claim shall be entertained if the JCB is not required for full working days or any days as directed by Engr-in-Charge and not ordered by users. (d) Additional JCB per day may be ordered as and when required and directed. Contractor to arrange accordingly without any extra cost. Payment shall be made at contract rate per JCB as per quoted rate. (e) Details measurement with location entered in measurement book before payment.
