The sewage treatment plant should be capable of treating domestic raw sewage having characteristics of BOD= 350mg/ litre & suspended solids=650mg/ litre and the characteristics of treated/ disposable effluent should comply with the standards as per the norms of H.P. State Pollution Control Board i.e. pH=6.5-8.5, BOD<10mg/litre, COD<50mg/litre, TSS<50mg/litre, Faeccal Coliform (MPN /1000 ml) <100, N-Total < 10mg/litre, NH4-N<5mg/litre. The scope of work includes construction of Inlet Chamber (1 No.), Screen Chamber (2 No.), Grit Channel (2 No.), Distribution Box (1 No.), Anoxic Reactor (2 No.), Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor Unit (2 No. MCRT 40 Days, Nitrification), Tube Settler (2 No.) Construction Wetlands for nitrogen and phosphorous removal (4 Nos, Depth 1.5 meter), Sludge Drying Beds (6 No.) with covering arrangements with polycarbonate sheet (6mm thick), constructed wetland (Rootzone System), Multi Media Filter, Chlorine Contract Tank, Interconnectivity pipe of STP and Effluent pipe, Boundary Wall with Fencing Panel round the STP year (P&F), Steel Gate (P&F), Interconnecting Path, Railing and Access Ladder, Plant Building/ Chowkidar room (plinth area 20.00 Sqm), providing and installation of DMF with allied accessories, providing and installation of Electro-Mechanic equipment s, providing and fixing of yard lighting solar light around STP with in all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge (as per chapter Number VI(a), VI(b), VI(c) including Six months of successful trial run as per the provision of manual on sewerage and sewage treatment publish by (CPHEEO Manual (latest edition). The design of various unit shall confirm to relevant codes and specifications. All the hydraulic structure shall be designed and constructed in RCC M 30 (but not less than 1:1:2).
