(A) Prime Mover:- Diesel Engine of suitable capacity water cooled radiator type closed circuit as per BIS 649 or IS-1002 direct inject type turbo with turbo charger. The DG Set shall be capable of running 24 hrs continouly with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hrs as per BIS-5514/BIS-649, Engine shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturers recommendations and mounted on common base frame through flexible coupling with following accessories :-
(i) Battery charging ammeter
(ii) Battery charging voltmeter
(iii) Ignition key and starting with push button switch
(iv) Lubricating oil pressure gauge
(v) Electronic/Microprocessor based Governor controlling
(vii) Toggle switch for idle running.
(viii) Oil Temperature gauge
(ix) Safety control (Trip):-
(a) High water temperature
(b) Low lubricant oil pressure
(c) Over Speed

(B) Alternator:- Alternator of capacity of 125 KVA/100 KW at NTP, 50 Hz, 415 Volt, 1500 RPM, 0.8 PF, running rate @ 1500 RPM, with insulation class 'H' self excited, self regulated, screen protected with self excited field brush rotating fixed designed to be coupled with above engine through flexible couping, the alternator shall be conforming to BIS-2613 or IS-4722.
(C) Control Panel:- Alternator control inbuilt panel cubical type with internal wiring with copper conductor for 125 KVA, 415 volt, 03 Phase, 04 wire, 50 Hz alternator fabricated out 1.6mm thick MS sheet painted internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, microprocessor based generator set monitoring, metering and control system with LCD display designed to meet the demands of today's engine driven generator sets.

| 4 | Note:- The contractor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authenticate the above from the OEM/OEAD.
(ii) Fuel Tank capacity as per manufacturer recommendations on steel frame at suitable height with all connecting pipes and fitting upto pump and over flow pipe form engine to tank including level indicating gauge duly marked and drain valve and air vent plug etc.
(E) Maintenance Spares :-
(i) Fuel filter element - 02 Nos
(ii) Oil filter - 03 Nos (iii) Fan Belt - 01 Nos (iv) Hose pipe - 01 Nos
(v) Tapped Cover gasket - 01 Nos
(F) DG Set shall be supplied alongwith acoustic original enclosure of the manufacturer suitable for 125 KVA DG Set as per CPCB IV+ Norms.
(G) Tool kit as supplied by the manufacturer alongwith each set - 01 set complete.
(H) The DG Set shall be tested by the Contractor in presence of the Accepting Officer's representative / IEM & Engineer-in-Charge for 12 hrs as per standard procedure without any extra cost to the department and the quoted rated are deemed to be included for all these aspects.
(J) The Contractor will produce all testing certificates related to DG Set as directed by Engr-in-charge/lEM/Testing Authority.
(K) The load for testing is also included in item rate.
(L) Shifting of DG set from factory to work site by means of truck/crane is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
(M) The rate for DG Set foundation as per manufacturer recommendation should deemed to be included in quoted rates.
(N) Contractor shall submit the CPCB compliance report/certificate of DG set, BIS certificate for diesel engine, wiring diagram, manufacturer test report etc. | | |
