| 1 | Maintenance and servicing of DG sets (any make, type and capacity) including replacement of defective/burn out parts by new spares such as replacement of oil, oil filter, air filter, fan belt, hosepipe, checking turbocharger, oil leakage, tightening of mounting screws & nuts, gaskets, V-belts, cleaning of oil sump, refilling and top up of oil, coolant, wornout clamps, checking inlet & Exhaust manifold cap, screws, fan hub & water pump, complete control wiring inlcuding electrical connections, On/Off switch, nut and bolts, cleaning of alternator with vaccum cleaner, greassing of bearing, cleaning of radiator fins using blower, inside tank with solution (caustic soda with water), trial & testing etc complete to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge, for the following capacity DG sets :- Note :- (1) Supply only of spares/parts required for maintenance shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ (2) All the checks of DG set (as per menufacturer's instructions) shall be got carried out by the contractor to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge. Contractor's quoted rates shall deemed to be included this fact into account and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (3) The DG set shall be tested on load (30 minuts) as per rated capacity for the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- Charge. | ||
