| 5 | Notes for srl item No. 1 to 4 The work for periodical services shall include the following elements and the rates quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to include for the same:- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor through authorised applicator of manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint & putty etc after prior approval of the GE in writing. A MOU to this effect shall be submitted with bid. (b) The Contractor shall upload the "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) entered into, with at least one of the approved manufacturers/ manufacturers mentioned in the contract , under cover-I of the e bid , failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures and safety norms as required. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing protective covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint/putty to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10Sqm area shall be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. |
