| 2 | M&L for water proof cement based putty @ 1 kg (undiluted) per Sqm of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/ old prepared surface of wall, sanding of putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface smooth, clean, free from dust etc using following steps complete all as specified and directed:- Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer's instruction, mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute. Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations. Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. | 5 | Note for item No. 1 to 4 :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint shall be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10Sqm shall be prepared considering all the items each of periodical, got the same approved from the GE before execution of work. No work shall be executed untill unless the sample patch is approved. (j) The work found not in confirmity to approved sample patch shall be rejected by the Engineer in Charge/ GE and shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost. |
