Notes:-
(i)No materials shall be issued from MES stores under this item. Only refixing, adjustment and minor consumables such as PTFE tape, rubber washers, screws, nuts & bolts, sealant, etc. shall be deemed included in the quoted rate.
(ii)All complaints under this item shall be attended and fully resolved within 24 hours from the time of issue of complaint / job order by the Engineer-in-Charge or Complaint Cell.
(iii)T&P, including conveyance required to attend complaints door-to-door, shall be provided by the contractor.
(iv)Complaint slips / job orders shall be collected by the contractor or his authorised representative in writing from the Complaint Cell In-charge / JE (Civil).
(v)The area / location of work shall cover all MD and OTM accommodation in Varanasi Cantt." | | |
| 3 | Attending plumbing complaints such as leakage of taps, angle valves, stop cocks or pipes, and carrying out taking down of existing fittings and fixing with new items of plumbing fittings including bib taps, pillar taps, GI tubing, stop cocks, angle valves, float valves of water tanks, gratings, traps, WCs flushing cisterns, waste pipes, WHBs, EWCs, and other similar works, for ensuring continuity of essential internal water supply and sanitary services, by employing an experienced team of plumbers and helpers, complete, so as to restore the existing services to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Notes:-
(i)T&P, including conveyance required to attend complaints door-to-door, shall be provided by the contractor.
(ii)Complaints shall be segregated based on resolution time, and materials (if required) shall be issued accordingly to the contractor. The categories shall be:

| 5 | M&L for Cleaning of HDPE tank of capacity up to & including 500 Litres by Flushing out water cleaning & removing of sludge, scale mud etc from wall & floor by rubbing with brushes, cleaning with caustic soda etc complete & finally washing with fresh water, including writing date with stencil and removing sludge, scale mud etc to a distance not exceeding 50 metre & depositing and removal of vagitation around tank area complete all as specified and directed.
Note: 1. Contractor will maintain a pucca bound register and cleaning activities will be recorded duly signed by AGE and User rep.
