| 1 | Maintenance and Servicing of DG sets by carrying out inspection/checking of cylinder assembly, piston system, piping system, cylinder liners, radiator function and cleaning throughly with cleaning agents, repair any mechanical and electrical fault etc of following capacities at following locations :- (i) 1010 KVA DG sets model Cummins at New CHSC - 6 nos Note for item nos 01 to 04: - (a) Spares parts (if any) shall be measured and paid separately under item nos. 05 to 19 of BOQ as Supply only . However the cost of labour for replacing of spares is inclusive under this item. (b) The cost of labour & T & P required for servicing of DG Sets shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates of this item. The contractor is responsible to provide 24x7 call back service and repair facility through skilled, competent and well experienced technician. No DG Set will be left unserviceable more than 4 hrs for any minor defect. Any major defect will be reported by contractor to Engr-in-charge and the defect will be repaired by the contractor in time stipulated by the Engr-in-charge. If DG set found unserviceable for more than 24 hrs for any minor defect from the time it was reported to the contractor or defects not rectified or delayed deliberately during the term of this contract, recovery @ Rs.1000.00 per such Non-functional DG Set per day will be imposed and will be recovered from the amount due to the contractor.
