| 1 | Design, Fabrication, and Installation of Outdoor Pylon Signs : The work includes comprehensive design, fabrication, and finishing of outdoor pylon signage of various shapes and sizes, incorporating cladding and cantilever elements as shown in the drawings. The scope shall cover all activities from design to installation as detailed below:
1. Design and Artwork Preparation : Preparation of final designs and layout drawings reflecting the Pylon aesthetic and functional requirements. Development of final artwork including color schemes, text sizing, directional arrows, and graphic elements in line with concept design drawings given in the tender document. Preparation of a detailed location plan. Submission of design drawings and actual sample for review and approval prior to fabrication.
2. Fabrication and Finishing : Execution of complete structural fabrication, including cutting, welding, and assembly of the steel framework as per final approved drawings. Application of cladding, ensuring smooth joints and clean finishes through grinding and polishing. Implementation of metal primer for covered memebrs and Duco Painting for outdoor exposed surfaces of main stem portion. Application of reflective films, vinyl graphics, and approved lettering as per the finalized artwork and specified color combinations to actual projected signage portion. Ensuring that all finishes and installations aligns with final approved drawings.
3. Quality Assurance and Installation : Factory inspection to confirm workmanship, material quality, and adherence to specifications. On-site installation using approved anchoring methods for perfect vertical alignments. Final inspection with the Engineer-in-Charge prior to acceptance, ensuring full compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. | 2 | Providing and fixing Pylon Main Stem portion as per approved drawing of overall thickness 100-110mm including claddings , The pylon Main stem portion shall be fabricated on Two mild steel (MS) base plates of size 300 mm 900 mm 10 mm thick, providing a stable foundation for the assembly. Each base plate shall be provided with a minimum of eight holes to accommodate 12 mm diameter L-type foundation bolts of total length 700 mm (600mm depth+100mm L bend) to ensure secure anchorage with the concrete foundation. The vertical supports shall consist of two numbers of MS square hollow sections of minimum size 100 mm 100 mm 2.6mm thickness, welded firmly to the base plate and aligned accurately in position. For stability of Main Box, horizontal bracings made of MS sections of size 100 mm 50 mm X 2.6mm shall be placed at 600 mm center-to-center spacing. All fabrication work shall be executed in proper line, level, and alignment. The entire framework shall be enclosed on all sides with Aluminium Sheet of 3.0 mm thickness welded/screwed continuously to form a seamless surface. After fabrication, all welds shall be ground and finished to achieve a neat surface texture ready for painting. Care shall be taken to maintain smooth, uniform edges and accurate fitting during welding to enhance the overall appearance. After fabrication, all welds shall be ground and finished to achieve a neat surface texture ready for painting. The complete structure shall be finished with minimum two coats to achive even finish of Duco paint of approved shade. | 5 | The projected signage portion structure and Cladding : The projected signage portion structure in the curved type pattern pylon shall be as per drawing issued along the tender. The cantileved structure shall be fabricated above the Main structure of Pylon. The framework consists of a Aluminium pipe measuring 50mm x 25mmX2mm , spaced at 600mm center-to-center on all sides to ensure strength and stability. All sides of the structure are cladded with 3.0mm thick aluminum sheet and welded/screwed seamlessly without visible joints, ensuring a smooth, ripple-free finish with sealed edges and no sharp corners for safety and visual quality. Once the aluminium sheeting work is completed, a high-intensity reflective film with full Cube retroreflective prismatic sheeting technology with Solventless Pressure-sensitive Adhesive with minimum 10 years OEM warranty shall be applied on both visible sides of the pylon including curved portion as per approved drawing, featuring accurate cut text and arrow graphics as per the approved design in Vinyl Sheeting as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. To ensure weather resistance, all joints are sealed using weatherproof sealant from DOW/Pidilite/Sika matched in color to prevent water ingress into the structure. The rate includes the hiring of a mechanical crane along with fuel, operator, mobilization charges, and all necessary supports, accessories, and safety measures required for proper handling and installation. No extra payment shall be made beyond the quoted rate.
