| 3 | NOTES:(i) The work shall be carried out through authorized & qualified applicator (ii) Total rubber/paint deposit should be removed and the debris / water vacuumed simultaneously leaving no FOD so that the Runway is available for operation immediately. (iii) Rubber/paint deposit debris should be in solid form when finally disposed. (iv) In any emergency condition the machine should exit from the runway in less than 2 mins without leaving FOD. (v) Friction Test should be carried out using portable friction testing machine before & after Rubber deposit removal operation. (vi) After carrying out rubber removal operation on the runway, the friction reading of the rubber/paint removed segment should be minimum 0.55 . (vii) The surface of both concrete / bitumen (rigid/flexible) shall not get any kind of damages during the process of rubber removal nor to any adjoining areas, joint filling etc. Damages made if any, shall be made good by the contractor as per the specifications of the Engr - in - charge without any extra cost. (viii) Work will be carried out in phase manner as per availability of runways . (ix) Proper agreement should be done with the owner of the machine. | ||
| 4 | M&L for Applying evenly one coat of solution of Polymer modified emulsion (PME) of approved make on Bituminous portion of Runway as specified and directed. Note: a) Solution of One Ltrs of diluted solution of Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) with water in the ratio 1:1 will be applied on the decided place with a maximum coverage area of 1.00 Sqm. b). Application of PME should be done through authorized agency by Mechanical Spraying machine with Spray Nozzle Assembly mounted in 30mm dia carbon Fiber Reinforced Flexible Pipe(CFRP). | 3000.00 | SQM |
