| 1 | Periodical Routine maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodicity of 03 Months for each DG Set, and testing of DG set complete i.e. Engine, Alternator etc. including all consumables items like cotton, waste cloth, kerosene oil etc. Maintenance shall be carried out as all directed by Engineer-in-Charge, and comprising of the following as per requirement:- (a) Change engine oil. (b) Check clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required. (c) Changing of oil filter, fuel filters, screen filters assy. (d) Changing of water filter element. (e) Topping up of coolant. (f) Change of Hydraulic governor oil. (g) Tightening of all nut bolts. (h) Greasing of all points. (i) Checking of any leaking in fuel and oil lines. (j) Cleaning/descaling of radiator by taking out the dirt and sludge, cleaning the tank thoroughly. (k) Adjusting valve tappet clearance/timing. (l) Injector pressure test cleaning and repairing, tightning fasteners and making lubrication leak proof. (m) Repair/rewiring of broken/damaged control panel connection including measuring instruments, indicators, engine protection devices etc. Note:(i) Servicing of DG set to be carried out by Authorised Service Centre person only. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement/refixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Spare parts like oil filter, fuel filter, screen filter by pass filter & other major parts etc. will be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. | ||

NOTE : Penalty/recovery may be made in for non-adherence of following :- (i) Non-attending the complain by mechanic within 4 hours of receiving of complain- Rs. 100 Per Hour (ii) Non-replacement of defective parts within 24 Hours of attending complain - Rs 1000 Per Day (iii) The Payment for replacement of defective Parts will be paid separately under respective items.
