| 2 | Taking off existing manholes covers & cleaning of manholes (any size / depth) by de-watering and taking off the rubbish / sludge etc., removing the same upto 50 m distance and put into and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil for newly excavated pits of suitable size and covering with excavated earth finally cleaning with fresh water and placing back in position the removed covers complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- 1. The excavation and earth work of pit in any type of soil is deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. 2. No extra payment shall be made for de-watering which shall deemed to be included in unit rate of this item. Net quantity of sludge as removed shall only be measured and paid. | 3 | Cleaning of chocked/blocked sewage lines (SGSW/RCC/CI PIPES) 150mm/200mm bore dia, taking out loose sedimented sand, dirt, oil, grease, sludge water, rags, fibers or vegitation etc. systematically using necessary tools mechanically and/or manually such as by rodding, passing rope knots, bamboo fanti and disc of required size (with safety measure such as dirt and gas etc), flushing the pipe well with water till clear flow of sewage from both side between two adjacent manhole of any depth from both side sludge in semi liquid stage including all water effluence etc and removing all materials from site of work upto a distance not exceeding 250m and depositing in earth pit of suitable size with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil including supply and sprinkling bleaching powder and covering sludge with earth after removal of blockage etc complete all as speicified and directed.
