| 1 | M&L for preparing old Black Top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc and application of Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) for air field pavement for micro surfacing with PME as per relevent codes with all parameters and mopping of total cold liquid PME as per site requirement and mixed with water and mineral filler if required at site as per requirement and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge / GE. Make :- M/s Ooms Polymer Modified Bitumen Pvt Ltd or equivalent approved make. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for above item :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (ii) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps / cracks with 0.6 mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions. (iii) A performance guarantee certificate shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work. (iv) For lesser width manual application can be allowed. (v) Rates shall be include for use of undulated polymer modified emulsion (PME) of 1.0 Litre for 1.0 Sqm in two coats. However, price adjustment will be made as per actual consumption based on trial patch as approved by GE.
