| 1 | Labour only for dismantling, taking out and checking the serviceability of different spares/ components/ parts of security light/ Aviation light/ post top light/ Garden light fittings / flood lights or any kind of lights (LED, HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide, Aviation light fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, cleaning acrylic/ glass cover connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation including depositing the US fittings to MES Store for further use etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. | 550 | Each |
| 2 | Note:- (a) Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Aluminium Ladder/crane, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. (b) The Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during day/night. Contractor has to arrange one team on all working day as per site requirement and all necessary T&P and equipments for remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS to the contractor or his authorised representative. (c) Any Materials replaced which are not specified in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT will be deposited to MES Store Yard without any extra Cost to the Department. (d) The Work is to be carried out upto 11 metre height by crane / trolly mounted ladder. Therefore the crane (including operator and fuel) must be capable of reaching required height as directed by Engr-in-charge including deployment of minimum one electrician and minimum one helper to carry out repair / rectification of all kinds of lights. | 3 | (e) Contractor shall deploy a supervisor to collect the complaints / list of unserviceable lights at 8:30 hrs at the office of Engr-in-charge on all working days and enter the same in a register with time and date of receipt of complaint and deposit to concerned JE E/M at 1700 hrs on same day with time & date of rectification of lights in all working days. in case of non rectification and replacement of defective lights within 72 hours of recipts of compliants the contractor will be penalized @ Rs 500.00 /- per day for each light (f) The manpower employed by the contractor will also be liable for cleaning of any vegetation around every street light pole for a radius upto 1 meter (including removal of creepers from pole ) with out any extra cost (g) The contractor shall provide insurance of all workers before engaing them on work. (h) The spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately as supply only of items. | ||
