2[A] RMU shall be 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, Internal Arc 21kA/1Sec, AFLR, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor of both sides Extensible 1 Way RMU, SCADA compatable Overload and eart fault protection Relay (Ashidha / CSPDR) with Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering unit (Type VD), Type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 Meters above sea level and at 40 C Ambient Temperature, Switchgear and Busbar shall all be contained in a SF6 Tank shall be sealed for life robotically welded non magnetic and non ferrite Stainless Steel Enclosure [2.5MM thickness SS304], nominal operating gas pressure 1.3 BAR @20 Deg C, RMU Tank shall provide Full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with Degree of Protection of IP67 filled with SF6 gas as insulation with leakage rate less than 0.1% per year tested as per IEC 62271-200. Painting thickness shall be atleast 60microns , Breaker shall be M2 Class- 10,000 operations at rated normal current and 10 operations at rated Short circuit breaking current. Manual welding or hermetic sealing of tank shall not be accepted., The unit shall have front cable entry (Suitbale for termination of 1R x 3C x 95.120/150 Sqmm Cable )for ease of installation and shall have site replaceable bushings for ease of troubleshooting during breakdown. RMU should be complete with all accessories such as Terminal boots, VPIS, cable supports, all front cable terminations, mechanical indications for VCB and Load break switch ON/OFF, Manometer as per with IEC standards 62271-200, 60056, 60129, 60265, 60298, 60420, 60529 and 60694. Switchgear Operating Mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection, Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested, Painting (FRONT COVER RMU: RAL7035 & (FOR MIMIC RAL7043)) & ENCLOSURE: RAL7035 & (TOP COVER & BASE STAND IN RAL 7043)).
3The unit shall be internal arc proof 21kA for 1 sec with AFLR clasification. tested and totally safe for human beings. The gas release & personnel safety from internal arc shall not depend on plinth design. The release of gas to be from the top of the unit, so that, even if the person is operating the unit, opening the cover, & there are personnels near the sides of the RMU/plinth, top release will ensure their safety. The hot gas release, in case of an internal arc, in no case should be from any side or bottom of the unit, as the same is unsafe for the operating personnel/pedestrian or general public. Bidder shall provide type test report to prove compliance to the Internal Arc fault IAC-AFLR as per IEC 62271-200. Internal arc testing shall be done with enclosure door in open condition, with switching devices in operation mode as per specified standard. The Vacuum Bottle shall be of same make as RMU Manufacturer . The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting required at site.
