1. VT Pump including allied electrical works. Supply and delivery of Vertical type water lubricated statically, dynamically, hydraulically balanced turbine pump capable of discharging the following duty condition as given below due to all causes with surface discharge head confirming to IS 1710 and as amended as on date with accessories as per IS 5120/1977 ( Reaffirmed 2011 ) and as amended thereafter to suit the site condition. The speed, No. of stages, sizes of column pipes and line shaft indicated is based on site condition prevailing during investigation. The pump should be supplied with non reversible ratchet pin housing safety clutch, suction strainer etc. The Pump Bowl assembly shall be with bronze impeller running at 1450 rpm. The pump includes suitable head shaft, suitable 1.5 metre long SS line shaft required Nos. to suit the well depth, Rubber line shaft bearing of required Nos., C.I Bearing retainer of required Nos., 100 litre HDPE Pre- lubricating tank with 20mm PVC Rigid pipe connection along with GM gate valves, Suitable ERW column pipe of each 1.5m long of required Nos. to suit the well depth, Suction bell mouth of suitable size, M.S. clamps suitable for column pipe/line shaft -2 set and Spanner - 1 set. fitting of valves should include proper RCC support especially for NON return
valves. Supply and fitting of suitable size best quality GI/MS pipe of thickness not
less than 10 mm for a total length of 10 m, suitable for the above
pump set and suitable size foot valve and connecting the suction pipe and valve with
suitable flanges, nut and bolt IR sheet etc. complete and connecting the delivery side
of the pump with the valves and suitable specials to connect with the pumping main.
Linking with pumping main including MS fabrication works (MS delivery pipe shall
be not below 200 mm dia up to valves, and 250 mm dia after combining of 2
pumps, thickness shall not be below 10 mm )
The duty condition of pump set are given below. Discharge : 291.672 m3 / hr (81.02 LPS ) (Total Head : 22 M ( including suction head)

| 3 | OD128028/2024-2025:Supply and delivery of vertical Squirrel cage induction motor (IS 325 ) suitable for the above pump continuous rated TEFC type for operation in AC, three Phase/50 HZ (±5%), 415V (±10%) running with a speed of 1450 rpm noted above and with inbuilt thrust bearing assembly capable of taking up the entire load and non - reverse ratchet assembly etc., complete. The motor rating noted above is the minimum and shall be such that it should never be over loaded when the pump works at MWL condition and shall be 10% over and above the maximum HP absorbed by the pump. The motor offered should be energy efficient to have maximum efficiency at high power factor. Separate thrust bearing assembly could also be supplied to take up the down load. Including suitable coupling for the motor with above pump set

Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of one number suitable capacity MCCB as incomer and three numbers of suitable capacity MCCB as outgoing ( Three MCCBs are interlocking with each other, two will be on at a time) providing suitable size copper bus/ interconnect the above MCCBs and fitted with three numbers of indicator lamps, 1No. volt meter with selector switch, 1 No: Ammeter with selector switch, KW & pf meter etc. complete and provided with a common earth bus for the entire panel and interconnect with the MCCBs as per IE rules and code of practice.
The panel shall be fitted on a common base frame on suitable foundation.

Cable Supplying laying, testing, jointing, and commissioning copper cables minimum 50 sq.mm for the above pump sets from main Panel board to Motor control panel board to the starter and from starter to motor for working individual motors at a time, 35 HP Vertical Turbing pump set to inter link with existing 25 HP starters ( 2 nos. ) as per IE rules,
Supply and providing ISI brand single compression cable gland termination for the above cables including cable lug of copper of suitable type and size including brick or CC tray through the floors filled with sand and broken stone and MS vertical trays suitable to the pump room as the directions of departmental officers, all termination should be with copper sockets of required size,
Earthing; Supply and providing plate ear thing as per IS 3043 by using suitable cast iron/copper plate with 2.5mtrs. Long 40mm dia class GI watering pipe extended up to middle of plate and clamped to the plate by GI clamps made out of 25x6mm GI strip providing funnel with weld wire mesh. Providing 1 no.earth bus made out of 25x6mm copper strip of 45cm long clamped to the water pipe at top and interconnection of earth bus with CI plate by using 2 nos. suitable copper /GI strip of suitable length, filling charcoal and salt at alternate intervals of 15cm all around plate.
Providing masonry earth pit chambers of suitable size and CI chamber cover complete as required as per IS - 1 Lot. Statutory, Approval. Approval from Electrical inspectorate including preparation of drawing obtaining approval for the drawings, arranging inspection of the installation and obtaining safety certificate etc. after completion of the works.
Necessary statutory fee if any payable to the electrical inspectorate/KSEB will be paid by KWA (Note: Scheme approval from the Electrical Inspectorate has to be obtained by the firm/ contractor before supplying the equipment)
Trial running and commissioning as per KWA rules. Conducting satisfactory trial running of the installation as per the direction of the Engineer in charge after attaining statutory approval and completing the entire work to the satisfaction of departmental officer concerned.
