Exposed portion of the Anchor bolts shall be galvanized in accordance with ASTM A 153. Material for headed bolts shall be of grade 6.8 or 8.8 and shall be galvanized in accordance with ASTM A 153. When inch size bolts are used, they shall conform to: ASTM A307, ASTM A325, ASTM A490 or ASTM A449 when bolt diameter exceeds 38.1 mm (1.5 in.) Threaded rod shall be of grade 6.8 or 8.8. When inch size threaded rods are used, they shall conform to ASTM A36, ASTM A354, ASTM A449, ASTM A588 or ASTM A687.
