| 1 | Supply of water by mechanical means [tanker lorries of water capacity 10 MT, minimum] conforming to below mentioned specification in the underground sump within the pump house premises at HWPT housing colony for distribution to colony residents on a as and when required basis and as directed by the Engineer. SPECIFICATION FOR WATER PH :- 6.5 to 8.5 (max. permissible limit) TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS MG/LIT :- 500 (max. permissible limit) CHLORIDES MG/LIT :- 250 (max. permissible limit) TOTAL HARDNESS PPM :- 200 (max. permissible limit) CALCIUM HARDNESS PPM :- 75 (max. permissible limit) MG. HARDNESS PPM :- 45 (max. permissible limit) CONDUCTIVITY MS/CM :- 400 (max. permissible limit) Note: 1.Water shall be drawn only from bore wells. 2.Weighment shall be made by the supplier on computerized weigh bridge for record and payment purposes. Copy of such weighment receipt shall be submitted for each load of water tanker. 3.Quality of water shall be analyzed for each load of water tankers, and no payment is admissible if the water does not meet above specifications. Deviation if found in the quality, water shall be rejected. 4.Supplier must supply required quantity (Maximum of 200MT per day) of water on as and when required basis during contract period of one year at the quoted rate. The rate quoted shall be strictly applicable for entire duration of contract period of one year from the date of commencement as cited in the work order and cost revision against any causes and situations arising after submission of tender will not be accepted. The bidders are required to submit water samples on the day of tender opening and bidders whose water sample meets our specification only shall be considered in the race or otherwise will be dis-qualified. | 3000 | MT |
