1General Notes: 1) All quoted rates for all items shall be inclusive of scaffolding upto heights of 3.5 meters. 2) All quoted rates shall be inclusive of all the tools/equipment/machinery/instrument and labour required for the work. 2) Profometer/cover meter shall be used before extraction of cores in RC members for identifying the location of reinforcement. No extra payment will be made for the same. 3) The tests shall be consucted as per latest editions/amendments of relevant IS codes or equivalent international codes. 4) The detailed test reports along with visual inspection reports as per the department requirement for base level data or for structural condition assessment shall be submitted, furnishing test results /findings and recommendations etc. to arrive at the present condition of the structure and identifying the structural elements that needs to be rehabilitated. The suitable methodology for rehabilitation along with specification of material to be used shall also be submitted along with the report. 5) Survey should be conducted by an experienced graduate civil and electrical engineers under the supervision of NDT level 2 certified Engineer. 6) Tests should be conducted at NABL accredited testing agency. 7) The reports of visual inspection and test results of NDT/other tests and suitable methodology for rehabilitation shall be certified by NDT level 2 certified engineer.
2Detailed inspection and physical observation of the Buildings/Structures, submission of detailed documentation/reports, identification and analysis of damage/distress in the RCC/Steel structures like cracks, corrosion, buckling, spallings, visual deformation, distress arising from design deficiencies, environmental exposure, construction errors or operational overloading etc through visual examination, drawings and photographs, distress mapping, dimensional checks of members/connections wherever required, classification of members based on results /findings into Fairly damaged, Moderately damaged, Severely damaged members, identifying minimum of 3 (Three) members from each of the above classification for in-situ testing to arrive at the present condition of the structure, recommendations for rehabilitation / restoration of RCC/Steel members if required, the specification of materials and methodology for the rehabilitation /restoration of the structure or providing baseline data for the structure as envisaged and directed by Engineer- in- charge. NOTE; 1) Due to security reasons, Department at will arrange photography free of cost. 37Per Structure
3Carrying out Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity test on RC members (per member 4 reading spaced at 300mm center to center) selected at random to assess the quality of concrete as per IS 516 Part 5/Sec-1:2018, (Amendment November 2019) including submission of evaluation report of test results carried out on footings, columns, beams, slabs or any other RCC member etc., as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.500Per member
4Carrying out Rebound hammer test on RC members (per location (150x150mm grid) considering 9 readings/impacts will be recorded) selected at random to assess the in-situ strength of the concrete near to surface as per IS 516 Part 5/Sec-4:2020 including submission of evaluation report of test results carried out on footings, columns, beams, slabs or any other RCC member etc., as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.500Per location
5Carrying out tests for Electro chemical parameter for Half cell potential survey, corrosion rate and resistivity on RC members at random locations and affected areas as per IS 516 (Part-5/sec-2)2021 or equivalent international codes including submission of evaluation report of test results carried out on footings, columns, beams, slabs or any other RCC member etc., as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
