| 1 | Replacement of Handrails: Fabrication and Erection of Hand Rails & toe guard inclusive of vertical member, top runner and middle runner by cutting, welding (SMAW), grinding, pipe bending at corner, etc. using approved welding procedure by experienced & skilled manpower, erection of hand rails at the locations, shifting of damaged hand rails to scrap yard, house keeping. All consumables like, welding electrodes, cutting/grinding wheels, gases, tools & tackles, welding & cutting sets, pipe bending machine, etc. are in contractor's scope. | 2 | Cleaning and painting of Hand Rails & toe guard: Hand rail inclusive of vertical member, top runner, middle runner and toe guard by mechanical cleaning and Painting with 1 coat of red oxide primer and 2 coats of black / orange colour paint. Each coat of primer & paint should have minimum thickness of 30 micron. All consumables like buffing wheel & machine, chipping tools, red-oxide primer, paints of required shed, thinner, etc. are in contractors scope. | 1500 | Mtr. |
| 3 | Replacement of structural supports: Cutting & removal of old/damaged pipe's supports, fabrication and erection of new supports connected with spring hanger and turn buckle in main plant. The support shall be made according to existing or as per drawing. Consumables like electrodes (E6013), Gases for gas cutting, cutting/ grinding wheels, Welding/ cutting set, SMC sheet, Paint, primer, thinner, required tools tackles like, slings/ rope, D-shackles, chain-pulley blocks, etc. shall be under contractor's scope. Red-fibre-sheet (Sheet Moulding Compound) for the support is also under contractor scope. Welder should have the prior experience in SMAW. Welder Qualification Test will also be conducted at site. All the consumables shall be brought of reputed brand with the approval of the Engineer-ln-Charge (ElC) only. Department will provide the required structural steels only. | 3000 | kg |
