1Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of silent type Diesel Generator set complete with Diesel engine, alternator and AMF control panel. The diesel engine and alternator shall be coupled or provided with flexible coupling and mounted on a base plate of robust in construction with prime rating of 25 KVA, 230 volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor at 230 v suitable for 50 hz 3%, single phase system and for 0.85 load factor and consisting of the followings:1) DIESEL ENGINE: The silent type DG set with CPCB compliant soundproof Acoustic Enclosure shall be provided with separate battery charging facilities with over charging protection, turbo charging facility, of suitable BHP at 1500 rpm under NTP conditions conforming to relevant BS/IS standard. 2) ENGINE MOUNTINGS AND ACCESSORIES: The engine mounting and accessories shall include but not be limited to the following:a) Cooling system:Heavy duty radiator with fan,Coolant inhibitor.b) Intake air system: Intake air system contain Duty type filter, Air intake manifold with necessary connections.c) Exhaust system: Exhaust gas turbo charge shall be provided with exhaust system having suitable designed silencer (commercial type) complete with thermal insulation and cladding. Suitable designed exhaust pipe with flexible piping for carrying the exhaust gases out with minimum backpressure on engine.d) Fuel system: The fuel system shall include fuel tank of minimum standard capacity. Tank shall include all fittings, fuel fill point, level indicator, breather, filters etc. e) Lube oil system: The lubricating oil system shall include oil pump, lube oil filter, lubrication oil cooler and lube oil level indicator dipstick.f) Governing system: The engine speed shall be regulated through electronic governor system which shall also provide the over speed protection. 3) ALTERNATOR: Synchronous alternator rated at 25 KVA, 230 volts at 1500 RPM, single phase 50 Hz 3%, with 0.8 lagging power factor at ambient temperature as per Latest IS/IEC or equivalent standard.4) BASE FRAME & FOUNDATION: The base frame shall be of skid mounting type fabricated from suitable MS providing common bed for engine and alternator directly coupled together. The base frame shall have the providing for grouting foundation bolts as well as fixing an Anti-vibration mount and for lifting easy removal of DG set. The DG set shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation in the ratio of 4:2:1. The length and breadth of the foundation shall be at least 200 to 400 mm more than acoustic enclosure length and breadth respectively and height of the foundation shall be 3.0 feet, i.e1.5 feet below and 1.5 feet above ground level and vibration isolation arrangement as per recommendations of manufacturer. 5) ENGINE STARTING AND SHUTDOWN:a) Engine starting: The engine starting shall be electrical start with DC 12 volts starting system comprising of starter motors, Batteries as per manufacturer recommendations for suitable voltage rating to run DG set with sealed maintenance free (SMF) battery as per specifications. The battery shall be initially charged and installed using necessary battery stand as required. Battery charger complete with transformer/rectifier DC voltmeter and ammeter, selector switch for trickle off and boost current adjustment should be provided and embedded inside AMF panel. The battery charging facility may be provided so as to charge the batteries even when the Silent type 25 KVA DG set is not running. The charger shall get disconnected while the generator set is running. Shutdown should be as per OEM norm. b) Alarms/Engine protection: Low Lube oil pressure High Water Temp High/Low DC voltage Weak battery Over speed Fail to crank Fail to start Sensor failure6) BATTERY CHARGE CONSISTING OF: a)Transformer of suitable ration. b)Rectifierc) Charge rate selector switch for trickle or boost d)DC ammeter and DC voltmeter. e)An indicating lamp for battery being charged. 7) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Acoustic enclosure should be an integral part of the DG set. The acoustic enclosure should be as per site condition with the provision to assemble and dismantle easily as per site condition. There should be no protruding part. The enclosure should be fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 14/16 SWG. To have long life of the enclosure it should be PP based power coated (inside as well as outside). All nuts and bolts should be stainless steel. Sound proofing of the enclosure shall be done with quality Rock wool / mineral wool / foam of suitable thickness (conforming to IS standard). A provision for emergency shutdown of DG from outside the container should be made. Provision of atmospheric air inlet should be provided.The DG set should have acoustic enclosure to meet stringent sound emission standards laid down MOEF/CPCB, designed to have optimum serviceability, powder coated fabricated on base frame of sturdy design with necessary reinforcement. 8)AUTOMATIC MAINS FAILURE (AMF): Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AMF panel suitable for 25 KVA DG sets. The AMF facility shall be incorporated using microprocessor-based relay with communication port, set of CTs for metering and protection energy analyzer to indicate currents and restricted earth faults. The AMF control panel shall be provided with the following controls, protections, metering etc., through microprocessor relay. a)Controls: Run/Off/Auto mode, emergency stop, panel lamp, reset, self-test, breaker control phase select, operator adjustment, service adjustment. b)Metering and monitoring: LED indicating lamps for control mode select switch ON/OFF (RED), warning indications to the generator (AMBER), shutdown indications due to failure in the gen-set (RED) and phase and scale indications (GREEN), for displaying analog instrumentation. The AC analog meters for indicating output of the generator in percentage of 3 phase kilowatt, frequency, voltage and current shall be provided. The necessary alarm and status display panel of LED screen with the engine and alternator data shall be incorporated. c) HRC fuses of suitable ratings along with rectangular aluminum bus bars (1 no. for each phase, neutral and earthing terminal) of adequate rating, duly colour coded with head shrinkable PVC sleeves.The AMF panel should be provided with contactors of 100 amperes capacity 2 no s (each for mains and DG set), voltmeter and ammeters. 9)Earthing: 02 sets of earthing i.e 01 for neutral and 01 for body earthing with GI earth plate 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 mtr long etc. with charcoal/coke and salt as required. Providing and fixing suitable/required quantity of 4mm dia GI wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with existing surface/recessed conduit/sub main wiring / cable as required. The earthing should have maximum 1.0ohm resistance.All the equipment s like DG set, Servo stabilizer and AMF panel should be properly earthed. 10) Cables: - Providing and laying of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/XLPE aluminum conductor power cable of 1.1 KV grade armored cable 95 sq mm of 3.5 core of, 1100 volts app. 40 mtr from for input and output connections for D.G. Set functioning as per the site requirements. The laying of cable between DG set and AMF panel (if not built in) should be in two layers with proper crimpling with crimpling tools. 11)Testing and commissioning: - DG Set shall be operated for a period of 12 hours on optimum/full load at installation site. During testing all controls/operation safeties will be checked and proper record will be maintained. Any defect/abnormality noticed during testing shall be rectified. The testing and commissioning of the equipment and POL to be used while testing and commissioning shall be in contractor s scope.Any other work which may be performed at the site or any material requirement arises at the site for the execution of the job, loading and unloading charges of DG set and accessories and carriages, the same will have to be performed by the firm/contractor without any extra liability. 2Fabrication of CGI shed of size 10 x 8 x 8 by way of P/F of corrugated G.S sheet 0.63 mm thick with zinc coating not less than 275 gram/m2s, MS hollow round bars of 4 (04 no. columns), MS Rectangular Pipe (100x60x3) in Beams, MS Flat (200x200x10) in Gusset plates, MS Square Pipe (40x40x3) in Truss and Purlins etc and then anchoring it with the help of hooks and bolts including cutting, hoisting, fixing and laying and fixing of CGI sheets on the roof fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. Bitumen and GI limpet washers filled with white lead and wind ties of flat iron of width 32mm x 6mm thick. Providing and fixing of Chain link fabric fencing mesh of size 25mm x 25mm made of G.I. wire of dia 3mm up to height of 5 along the floor of shed with providing / fitting of door of size 5 x 4 for entry and exit. Painting of the whole shed including those areas which are left during the job with branded synthetic enamel paint for 2 or more coats. The job shall include any other material necessitated for completion of the job. Rates are inclusive of all material, taxes, duties and carriages at site.1.000job
