| 1 | NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :- (a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after. (b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor. (c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failing which contractor shall liable to pay a penal recovery of Rs. 5000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, subject to maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher. (d)The contractor shall obtain approval of Qualified Tradesman as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as Electrician / FGM / Technician etc., readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery etc., as per site requirement. | ||
| 2 | Carrying out Repairs, Maintenance & attending to breakdown of 5.5 TR to 11.6/12.5 TR capacity package type, air cooled AC plant as per the following scope of the work given below including carrying out general repairs / servicing to ensure smooth and trouble free operation of plants to the entire satisfaction of users / department complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Scope of Work : (a) Periodical monitoring/Inspecting the complete AC plant and carrying out preventive/ periodical maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of AC plant The periodical inspection for preventive maintenance shall be carried out by technician/ service engineer of authorized service provider once in a quarter other than breakdown calls for monitoring the operational condition of AC plant including for preventive maintenance/breakdown calls whenever required. (b) Visual inspection for oil traces, Air heat exchanger (condenser) cleaning, check for removed protection devices, and improperly closed doors/covers, check that the temperature difference between the heat exchange inlet and outlet is correct, check the refrigeration system, motors and starters for performance and healthy condition of plant (c) Checking the system for leaks and rectification of leaks if any. (d) Taking a set of readings and evaluating the same to ensure the satisfactory performance of the plant (e) Checking the refrigeration control system for operation and adjusting the settings as and when required (f) General Cleaning of the evaporator and condensing coils (g) General Lubrication of the bearings of motors, pumps and fans as and when required (h) Inspection of belts, which includes adjusting the tension including replacment if required (j) Filling only the refrigerant as a result of leak arising from the system due to standard wear and tear (k) Repairing / replacing the components of the equipment at site or at workshop as required (l) To check proper functioning microprocessor and take control test. (m) Intimating any breakdown requiring specific major repairs/overhauling to the contractor/ department for immediate rectification of defect. (n) Attending the complaints/breakdown whenever received by user/JE/Engineer in charge and attending the complaint for same within 24 hrs of receipt. (o) The repair / replacement of all spare parts like ICVC Boards, compressor / fan motor rewinding, electrical switch gears, contactors, PCB, refrigerant gas etc are not in the scope. These items shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (p) Any minor spares/ repairs items which are required to keep the plant in operational are deemed to be included in scope. | ||
