| 1 | PHASE-I : [Schedule "A" Part I] (Item Nos. 01 to 78):
Design, engineering, collection and testing of raw sewage samples, preparation and submission of complete treatment scheme, obtaining approval of Accepting Officer including Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fully automatic Package Type Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of 80 KLD capacity at Key personal quarters near SVN Colony, visakhapatnam with teritary treatment based on any proven and approved sewage treatment technology suitable for achieving the following treated effluent parameters and all as specified in the policy guidelines and / or statutory norms including CPCB norms, MoEF&CC guidelines, NBC provisions and local Pollution Control Board requirements, complete in all respects and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

(a) pH - 6.5 to 8.3,
(b) COD less than 50 mg/L,
(c) BOD less than 10 mg/L,
(d) TSS less than10 mg/L,
(e) Total Nitrogen - 10 mg/L,
(f) Total Phosphorous 1 mg/L,
(g) Fecal Coliform - NIL, and
(h) Odour - No foul odour
(j) COMPONENTS OF STP PLANT: The equipment for the STP shall be as per OEM Recommendations: | 1 | JOB |
| 2 | [i] Since the design of STP shall be as per OEM, please note that unit rate quoted for Sewage Treatment Plant shall be deemed to be inclusive of full and final completion of work as per BoQ, Particular Specifications and specifications as per OEM recommendations read in conjunction with each other. Any item not covered in the scope of work but essential for smooth functioning of STP shall be provided as per OEM/Technology providers recommendations. The quoted rate is inclusive for the same. No additional claim whatsoever in this regard shall be entertained.
[ii] The complete scheme of STP shall be vetted by OEM / technology provider for its 80 KLD sewage hold by capacity.
[iii] STP has to process input sewage from raw sewage well. Any other component to align STP with raw sewage well is deemed to be inclusive in scheme of STP under this item.
[iv] Cost of all spares and consumables required during defects liability period for keeping the system functional, is deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate quoted under this item. No additional claim whatsoever shall be entertained at later date. | | |
| 3 | Notes for item No 1.00 & 1.01 above:-
(a) The scope shall include detailed survey, collection and laboratory testing of raw sewage by the contractor at his own cost for assessment of influent characteristics and preparation of complete process design accordingly. The technology and process adopted shall be open-ended and performance based, and no specific technology shall be mandatory, however the proposed technology shall be proven, energy efficient, suitable for Visakhapatnam climatic conditions, compact, low maintenance and capable of consistent performance under varying hydraulic and organic loads.
(b) The item shall include but not be limited to design, planning, detailed engineering, architectural drawings, structural drawings, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), hydraulic calculations, electrical SLDs, cable schedules, instrumentation layouts, SCADA architecture, equipment GA drawings, foundation details and all other working drawings required for execution and operation of the plant. The complete design and drawings shall be vetted by any IIT/NIT and submitted by the contractor within 30 days from the date of acceptance through proper channel to the Accepting Officer for approval prior to commencement of work. | | |
| 4 | (c) The scope shall include all civil works, mechanical works, electrical works, instrumentation works, automation works and associated allied works from receiving raw sewage at inlet point up to storage of treated effluent in treated water storage tank, excluding the following:-
(i) Raw sewage collection tank with screen chamber (separately provided under another schedule item)
(ii) External incoming sewer/inlet pipeline up to Raw sewage collection tank.
(iii) External treated water outlet pipelines beyond treated water storage tank battery limit.
(d) The scope shall however include all pumpsets, blowers, screw pumps etc as per OEM design with 01 working + 01 standby, internal interconnecting pipelines, valves, fittings, specials, manifolds, channels, launders, supports, pipe bridges, internal sewer lines, sludge lines, air lines, chemical dosing lines, filtration lines, flushing lines, recirculation lines and all associated piping within the STP package limits complete.
(e) The item shall include all RCC, PCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, anti-corrosive treatment, epoxy coating, flooring, trenches, foundations, equipment pedestals, paving, drainage arrangements, covers, staircases, handrails, ladders, chequered plates, structural steel works, sheds/buildings and all other civil and structural components forming part of package type STP required for complete functioning of the STP. | | |
| 5 | (f) The scope shall include all process equipment and accessories such as screening arrangements, grit removal system, oil & grease removal system, equalization arrangements (if part of package), aeration system, blowers, diffusers, bio-reactors, clarifiers, media, tube settlers, pumps, mixers, agitators, sludge handling system, filter feed pumps, filter units, tertiary treatment units, activated carbon filters, pressure sand filters, disinfection system, chlorination/UV/ozonation system, chemical dosing systems, sludge drying arrangements, odour control arrangements and all accessories including all Raw sewage & treated water pump sets complete as per approved design.
(g) The item shall also include complete tertiary treatment system for achieving reuse quality treated water suitable for arboriculture applications as specified in contract documents and policy guidelines.
(h) The scope shall include complete internal electrification and power distribution system including LT panel, MCC, APFC panel, PLC based automation panel, SCADA system, mimic panels, HMI, instrumentation, sensors, analyzers, level transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges, online monitoring system, local control stations, all power/control wiring, copper/aluminium cables, control cables, communication cables, cable trays, earthing, lightning protection, glands, lugs, terminations, starters, VFDs, illumination, exhaust fans, sockets and all accessories complete. | | |
